Members of the KLCC Sports and Recreation Club (KSRC) have finally completed their second dose of Covid-19 vaccination at Menara Dayabumi, yesterday, under the MYMedic@Wilayah Mobile Vaccine Truck Programme.
The MYMedic@Wilayah Mobile Vaccine Truck programme is an initiative brought by the Ministry of Federal Territories to bring vaccines closer to the community and accelerate the herd immunity drive.
Up to 500 doses of vaccines were administered yesterday by Optimax Holdings Bhd, the appointed Health Care Organiser (HCO), under the supervision of KSRC and the KLCC Pandemic Preparedness Response Team (KPRT).
“We would like to thank our members who have participated in this vaccination programme, KPRT for their cooperation and the leaders who have supported us in making this programme a success. It is hoped that the completion of this second dose vaccination would further accelerate KLCC Group’s effort in achieving herd immunity.” said Mohd Samli Ibrahim, KSRC’s President.
Encik Md. Shah Mahmood, Group Chief Executive Officer of KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd and Encik Annuar Marzuki Abdul Aziz, Chief Financial Officer of KLCC Property Holdings Berhad also took some time to visit and commemorate the completion of the second dose vaccination of KSRC members.
The MYMedic@Wilayah Mobile Vaccine Truck programme is among four measures being implemented in the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan. The Ministry of Federal Territories is targeting to achieve the herd community earlier with more than 80 per cent or about 2 million of its population, especially in Kuala Lumpur, to complete the Covid-19 vaccination by this October.
