KLCC Urusharta Sdn Bhd (KLCCUH), Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd (PjH) and KLCC Parking Management Sdn Bhd (KPM) once again clinched the Gold and Silver Awards respectively at The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Health and Safety Awards 2021.
For three consecutive years, KLCCUH participated in the Achievement Awards category which is merit-based, recognising excellence in Occupational Health and Safety implementation. The journey of the RoSPA Awards for KLCCUH started back in 2019, achieving Silver and they subsequently advanced to the Gold in 2020 and 2021. This solidifies KLCCUH’s commitment in upholding health and safety excellence and steadfastness in continual improvement towards the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Generative Culture.
On the other hand, PjH clinched the Gold Award after winning the Silver Award last year. PjH has over the years, made significant improvement in its HSE journey particularly in the adoption of the HSE culture among employees. This was evident through the reduction in the amount of Loss Time Injury Cases as well as Dangerous Occurrences at workplace.
For the second year in a row, KPM has won the Silver Award for demonstrating high levels of performance underpinned by good management systems which deliver consistent improvement. KPM has established, implemented and maintained a procedure for the participation of workers by their appropriate involvement in hazard identification, risk assessments and determination of controls, involving consultation with contractors and suppliers on any pertinent HSE matters.
These recognitions are a tribute to the Group’s HSE Division for its remarkable efforts in raising the bar and surpassing the calibre of a successful health and safety management system in diligent enforcement and systematic planning across the Group. It also exemplifies the Group’s staff and contractors' consistent efforts and hard work towards achieving the safety standards and most importantly for everyone to get home safely to their families at the end of every working day.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Health and Safety Awards encourages participation from all sizes of organizations and industries, worldwide. It offers opportunity for organisations to benchmark safety performance year on year and ensure consistent performance between sites.
